| We know some of you may want to give your character a special ability, and we greatly encourage this! However, here are a few things to keep in mind. 1) It must be cannon. You can't have a flying monkey from the Oz world here. 2) Be realistic. If you're character is a second year, he/she can't possibly be a skilled animagus. 3) Parselmouths will be strictly regulated. - Code:

Name: Elliot Travers Age: 27 Ability: 1/2 Veela Reasoning:
His mother was a full Veela and abandoned him by leaving him to his grandmother in Russia to make daily visits to his biological father who had a wife and children. His mother stayed his father's mistress for all her life; spending even a day apart, just the hours she had to give to his real family and children, set her into deep longings. This was when Elliot was younger and now that she is a registered Veela his father's marriage is annulled and his parents have been relocated to a nondescript location.
As a half-Veela he doesn't have as strong yearnings for his mate, however that is solely because he has yet to meet her or him.

| Name: Julian Aristotle Gray Age: 33 Ability: Animagi - Corgi Reasoning: His birth mother is a halfblood He loves magic, he's been dedicated to studying it since he found out he could do such things, and he's loved the idea of being able to turn himself into an animal. He picked the Corgi because the dog reminds him of himself; playful, encouraging and strange. | |
